Goals

The BADANTES project – Promoting Excellence among Romanian Caregivers through Vocational Training (VET) aims to support Romanian caregivers working in other European countries, promoting their social and professional integration and improving the quality of home care services for the elderly.

The main objectives of the project are:

  • To raise awareness of the challenges faced by Romanian caregivers abroad. To highlight the social, cultural, administrative, and employment difficulties encountered by Romanian caregivers when relocating to another country, promoting greater understanding and facilitating their integration process.

  • To promote professional integration in other European Union countries. To boost employability and adaptation to the European labor market through training opportunities specifically designed to meet the needs of Romanian caregivers.

  • To improve the professional skills of caregivers. To develop knowledge and skills that enable them to provide high-quality home care services to older adults, ensuring safer, more effective, and person-centered care.

  • Strengthen the capacity of vocational training providers (VETs). Support training entities so they can design and deliver programs aligned with current labor market needs and the social challenges related to population aging.
