2023-2-PT02-KA220-YOU-000175363

Goals

  • Promote intergenerational dialogue on history and democratic memory: Facilitate spaces for conversation between young people and older adults who lived in contexts of dictatorship, exploring their experiences and reflecting on the evolution of rights and freedoms.

  • Preserve and disseminate historical testimonies through the collection of letters and interviews: Gather personal accounts from citizens who experienced repression in different countries, digitizing and translating key historical documents.

  • Promote youth creativity as a tool for expression and activism: Develop creative processes and artistic productions inspired by the historical testimonies collected, encouraging the use of art as a form of resistance and education.

  • Develop artistic interventions in public spaces: Organize performances in squares and other symbolic places in the participating countries to generate impact and promote reflection on freedom and democracy.

  • Create an interactive digital historical route: Design an augmented reality application that allows users to access historical content at key points in European cities, linking memory with technology.

  • Facilitate transnational cooperation in education and the arts: Promote joint work between youth and arts organisations from different countries to exchange methodologies and generate impact at European level.

  • Promote the dissemination and social impact of the project: Develop communication strategies, including social networks, conferences and media, to expand the reach of the results and raise awareness in more communities.
