Objectives
Training adult educators in the prevention of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): Improving their knowledge, skills and experience to support people affected by trauma due to natural disasters, war, intimate partner violence or stalking.
Develop early intervention methodologies: Provide psychological support tools, including psychological first aid and strategies for managing post-crisis trauma.
Promote good practices in the treatment of post-traumatic stress: Share experiences and effective methods among educators in different contexts, such as natural disasters, ecological anxiety and post-war trauma.
Create accessible educational resources for the training of educators: Develop a Guide to Adult Education in Disaster Areas and a digital platform where educators can share knowledge and good practices.
Fostering international cooperation in resilience education: Strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and social organisations in Turkey, Spain and Poland to improve crisis response at European level.
Improving psychosocial emergency response capacity: Equipping educators with effective strategies to mitigate the effects of trauma on vulnerable populations and facilitate post-crisis recovery.
