At Esplai Social, we are excited to announce our participation in the European project PowerPack, an Erasmus+ initiative that brings together organisations from the Netherlands, Romania, Cyprus and Spain with a common goal: to contribute to the healthy and conscious growth of children aged 4 to 14.
PowerPack is based on the belief that mental resilience, self-awareness and social skills are just as important as math or language skills. That’s why, throughout the two years of the project (2024–2026), we will be developing interactive materials, teacher toolkits, and proposals to actively involve families in social and emotional education from an early age.
On March 12th, we held the first transnational partner meeting in Leeuwarden (Netherlands), which marked the official launch of the project. In this initial phase, we are designing the roadmap that will lay the foundation for integrating personal, social and emotional development (PSED) into educational settings.
🧭 What will the project deliver?
A PowerPack Roadmap to implement PSED in schools, adapted by age group.
A PowerPack Toolkit with interactive materials and teacher guides for easy use in classrooms.
A PowerPack Support Handbook to promote peer-to-peer learning and family engagement through creative and participatory activities.
Esplai brings to the project its experience in social inclusion, education and participatory methodologies, with the goal of offering children tools to support their personal development and well-being.
